Update to Xobni Beta build 4226:

Xobni updates itself automatically after a new release. Most users will see a new version in a matter of hours, but it could take as long as four days. Outlook must be restarted for Xobni to update itself.

Xobni Manual Update

There is no risk associated with running the update manually, however the automatic method is currently the easiest way to ensure your Xobni is updated.

If you would like to force Xobni to update ahead of schedule, this is a way for you to do it (warning: medium technical difficulty below).

Xobni Updater runs in the background, so you will not see any indication it is working other than a process appearing in the processes tab of your Task Manager. This is normal.

First, download the updater

Next, follow these important steps:

1. Close Outlook.
2. Wait 1 minute. Sometimes it takes Outlook a while to close.
3. Open XobniUpdater.exe.
4. Wait 2 minutes for the update to complete in the background (VERY important!)
5. Open Outlook.
6. Verify the build number is 4226. Go to the Xobni menu and select About.

If you still have an old version, it's probably because the Outlook process was still running. Restart your machine and try steps 1-6 again.
