Does Xobni index my email archives?

As long as your e-mail archives are loaded into Outlook, Xobni will index them.

The very first time you run Xobni, it will index as much as it can in about 20 minutes. It will then index the rest of your mail overnight (or whenever you have been idle for a long time).

To force Xobni to index all of your email right away:

1) Go to the "Xobni" menu at the top of Outlook or click the gear menu from the bottom of the Xobni sidebar.

2) Choose "Index Outlook Mail" from that menu. If you do not see an option called "Index Outlook Mail", you need to update to the latest version.

3) A window will appear showing you the status of the indexing process.

Note: if you have any really long emails (over 3,500 characters), Xobni might not index some of the text of those emails. This is done to keep search speed fast.
