Hope you bring the SharePoint integration to Xobni Plus as well. It should not be only for the enterprises. I think the individual users would like to have this opportunity as well, when the enterprise model is out of the question.

Just uninstalled program due to the cost of the Plus version and the fact that when using the free version, it doesn’t allow me to select from my dropdown contact lists in the to: fields. I probably would have kept it and continued using it until that occurred, and the fact that they stopped some of my normal functionality in order to get me to buy the plus version really ticked me off.

Until they drop the price significantly and restore all functionality to outlook when using the free edition, I’m absolutely not interested in this product.

Completely agree with Steven. Uninstalled for the same reasons, and I was sick of the constant reminder to purchase the Premium. This WAS a very nice piece of free software. Now, it is junk.

Hi Steven, Rebel – i’m sorry that our new version of Xobni is confusing. I want to assure you, we do not take away existing functionality from Outlook’s autosuggest. We would never do that. The way Xobni’s autosuggest works is that we re-display the results Outlook would have given you at the top of the compose window, and then we show you all of Xobni’s results in the bottom area. This has surprised many users, and mostly becuase what we’ve shown is how bad Outlook’s native autosuggest really is. The difference is that Xobni’s autosuggest searches every email address that has ever passed through your inbox. People that were CC’d, people you’ve never emailed but have emailed you, and people from old PST files. Outlook autosuggest on the other hand only shows you people you’ve recently emailed. Xobni Plus provides between 5 and 10 times as many results as Outlook’s autosuggest. Another massive benefit of Xobni’s autosuggest is that we allow you to search by any term in a person’s email address. Their name, the text of the email address, and even the domain name. For example with Xobni autosuggest you can easily search for everyone you know at enron by typing “enron” in the compose window. This is incredibly powerful and you can’t do it with native Outlook autosuggest. Because we are a business, and our Plus users support our development, we have made these powerful new feature part of our paid offering. However, i assure you, we would never take away functionality that Outlook provides. It just ends up that Outlook’s functionality is pretty limited.

Millions of mails reach our enterprises every week. This time-consuming proces is not necessary when you have a good search tool. Lookeen works with exchange, searches your desktop, can be used very easily in enterprises (thanks to Group Policy) and has a lot of other very cool features.
