I love your product, and I loved it better when it had the Organize tab in it.
I started using the O tab instead of MS todo tab. When it disappeared I thought it was a bug, and only now I realize it was on purpose. I think you should have let users know about it via some popup in the product, not just a blog post.
All in all it might be a good decision on your side. For now I am not uninstalling xobni just because you removed it, but it has became less useful for me. Good luck.

I'm sorry to see the Organize tab go. "Stay in Touch" was an innovative, simple and vital feature.

I'd also rather use the Xobni Organize tab than the lame, screen-wasting Outlook "Today" view. (Actually, I wish you guys would go all the way and design a whole new interface for Outlook, ala Caelo's <a href="http://www.emailorganizer.com/" NeoPro</a>.)

I have only just joined the beta and I think xobni rocks! I don't know about this organise tab that y'all are anxious about. But, as it is, it works really well.

I agree with the developers when they say it should be simple. Simple is good. Simple should be fast.

The organise tab can appear in some other form, as some other plugin. I might or might not want it. If you put it in, then you're forcing me (and everyone else) to have it, with all it's associated complexity, UI, speed issues, etc.

Not everyone is a power user, and not everyone will want it.

If I could, I would remove the stats graph and picture. I don't use it. It's not useful. The rest of it is great, especially if we could filter out the GIFs in the signatures.

I personally am too very sad about you guys loosing the Organise panel.
"We felt that the Organize features were a distraction from the core product"
I really don't quite agree with this particular point in THIS case. Here's why. You are working on a small and very niche product, so it already means that because of its size (small) its quality is superb alredy, since the project is so small and thus gets a lot of attention. Now you're saying that you want it to make even more so. I personally don't see how. You clain that removing the Organise tab, which I believe a lot of people liked, including myself, can and will make the overall Xobni better. But will it really?

My point is that Organise was a small part of an already small product. Do you relly think removing this small part worth the benefits it offers?

All in all, it's a great product and I really do wish you best of luck with it. But again, think twice about making it smaller, since it IS tiny already and I bet you have a lot of people to give attention to smth a little bit bigger.

Kindest regards,
D.

P.S. I, like a lot of other folk, liked the Organise better than Outlook's Today scree. And I don't think that Organise should be smth original or offer smth extra, it's enough that it's simply "there". That's how I see it.

I have been a beta user since Xobni was released and also have got a lot of my friends and family to use and they love it too.

I have been very dissappointed at the loss of the 'Organise' tab. For me and many of my networked contacts, that was the one feature that set Xobni as a benchmark/ a standard for the industry.

Please bring it back.

Why is taking so long to get in on the beta? I get 800+ emails a day in a corporate environment and am wanting to help test the product for you.

I guess I'll just have to find other ways of getting a copy of the beta....
