Xobni needs a LDAP access module to ActiveDirectory for getting user info.
We use a php website to display ActiveDirectory Data including two different photos.
If Xobni would be opensource I had posted the finished code for you here yet

Good to hear from you. Existing users are on three versions: 2110, 2231, and 2362. We test new versions with a small group of users before we update everyone. You are on the most up to date version for existing users. We’ll update you soon. It will happen automatically and we will announce it on our blog.
