My company (recently sold) developed an employee time and attendance system a few years ago. The user interface was fairly simple and clients used to say how easy it was. No-one every really understood just what it took to manage the backend processing. Also Lookout is one of the best (and most used) pieces of software I have seen for a long time. I agree totally.
